The Israel Palestine One-State Solution

(Newsmax.com) - Former US president Jimmy Carter said Sunday Palestinian leaders were "seriously considering" a one-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, following a visit to the Middle East.

"A majority of the Palestinian leaders with whom we met are seriously considering acceptance of one state, between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea," Carter wrote in an op-ed piece in The Washington Post.

"By renouncing the dream of an independent Palestine, they would become fellow citizens with their Jewish neighbors and then demand equal rights within a democracy," he explained. "In this non-violent civil rights struggle, their examples would be Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela."

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Of course I never thought I would find myself in agreement with former President Jimmy Carter, but I guess when it really comes right down to it, it is actually the former president who agrees with me (at least in his observation). "The Catholic Knight" has been advocating a solution like this for over a decade, long before he started blogging on the Internet. This isn't just A POSSIBLE solution - it is THE ONLY solution, and it WILL work. That's why "The Catholic Knight" goes on the record right here and now with full 100% endorsement of this peace plan. I will go even further than that. There is no reason why any Catholic Christian should oppose this, and in fact, I challenge every Catholic Christian in the world to join me in this call for Israeli/Palestinian peace through equality. "The Catholic Knight" defies anyone (clergy or laity) to show me in the teachings of Catholic Social Justice where this is wrong. It cannot be done, because there is nothing in Catholic Social Justice that opposes it. In fact, I dare say Catholic Social Justice demands it! That's why "The Catholic Knight" calls upon all Catholic clergy around the world to publicly support this effort. I challenge them. I dare them.

If you read the full article above, you will see that even though the former president makes this observation he doesn't believe it is the "best possible solution." Well, of course not. The majority of world leaders have bought into this nonsensical two-state solution, which has proved to be an utter failure, a thorn in the side to every Israeli and a humanitarian disaster to every Palestinian. World leaders endorse this failed two-state solution because it allows the Israeli government to isolate the Palestinian people, separating them from the mainstream Israeli population, in an apartheid kind of fashion. This allows the Israeli government to maintain an ethnically "Jewish state" which is unnatural to that part of the world at this juncture in history and an abomination to the sensibilities of modern societies. Can you imagine the artificial creation of an ethnically white Anglo-Saxon Protestant country in the middle of Africa? Oh wait, that was already tried in South Africa. We see how well that went.

It also creates a situation the fuels radical Islam, giving it a home in Near East Palestine among an Arab population that was originally very Secular. Likewise it gives radical Islamic nations the excuse they need to continue their rogue policies and unite them with neighboring countries that would otherwise oppose them.

The ONLY viable solution to peace in the Near East is one united Nation of Israel, that is no longer ethically racist, opens it's citizenship to everyone between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. All people living within it's borders must be equally eligible for citizenship regardless of religious or ethnic identity - Jewish, Muslim or Christian.
